Ingredients for Tasty Garlic Cheese Buns
-warm water, sugar and active dry yeast.
-butter, egg, honey, salt and flour.
-melted butter, parmesan cheese, garlic cloves, and sharp cheddar cheese.
How to make Tasty Garlic Cheese Buns
- In a large bowl, or mixer, place the warm water and sugar. Stir, then sprinkle the yeast on top.
- Let proof for 10 minutes, until bubbly and dissolved.
- Add the 2 Tbsp softened butter, egg, honey, and salt and stir in.
- Add the flour one cup at a time, mixing in between. Add enough flour until the dough does not stick to your fingers and feels smooth and elastic.
- Lightly sprinkle some flour on the counter, then knead the dough for a few minutes, until it becomes smooth and springs back when you press it.
- Seperate the dough into 2 balls, you can weigh them to make sure they are equal.
- Sprinkle a little flour on the counter and roll out 2 rectangles.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, crushed garlic, and parmesan.
- Spread half of the mixture on each rectangle.
- Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of grated cheddar on each rectangle.
- Roll up and cut each length into 9 equal pieces.
- Place the rolls on parchment covered baking sheets, leaving room between each roll.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar onto the tops of the cheese buns.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour, until fluffy and doubled in size.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.

Add the flour one cup at a time, mixing in between. Add enough flour until the dough does not stick to your fingers and feels smooth and elastic.
On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and springs back when you press it.
Seperate the dough into two balls. You can weigh them to make sure they are equal.
Sprinkle a little flour on the counter and roll out 2 rectangles.

Spread half of the mixture on each rectangle. Then sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of grated cheddar on each rectangle.
Roll up tightly on the long edge.
Cut each length into 9 equal pieces.
Place the rolls onto parchment covered baking sheets. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar onto the tops of the cheese buns.
Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 hour, until fluffy and doubled in size.
Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
