Ingredients for Tasty Garlic Cheese Buns

How to make Tasty Garlic Cheese Buns

  1. In a large bowl, or mixer, place the warm water and sugar. Stir, then sprinkle the yeast on top.
  2. Let proof for 10 minutes, until bubbly and dissolved.
  3. Add the 2 Tbsp softened butter, egg, honey, and salt and stir in.
  4. Add the flour one cup at a time, mixing in between. Add enough flour until the dough does not stick to your fingers and feels smooth and elastic.
  5. Lightly sprinkle some flour on the counter, then knead the dough for a few minutes, until it becomes smooth and springs back when you press it.
  6. Seperate the dough into 2 balls, you can weigh them to make sure they are equal.
  7. Sprinkle a little flour on the counter and roll out 2 rectangles.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, crushed garlic, and parmesan.
  9. Spread half of the mixture on each rectangle.
  10. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of grated cheddar on each rectangle.
  11. Roll up and cut each length into 9 equal pieces.
  12. Place the rolls on parchment covered baking sheets, leaving room between each roll.
  13. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar onto the tops of the cheese buns.
  14. Cover and let rise for 1 hour, until fluffy and doubled in size.
  15. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
  16. Enjoy!
